I love Kitsch!

Alright. I have to admit. As much as I love hip, modern things, I LOVE KITSCH I have the hugest weakness for kitschy things. Today at Big Al's, I found this guy. He's a toilet paper holder who now resides in my kitchen, holding paper towels. I love him. Kim and I stopped in mid tract. We feel in love with him, and paid way too much for him ($12.88!). But that's ok. Now, he needs a name.






This, however, is my Big Al's Find. They're salt and peper shakers. Notice how one is a toilet? Yup. That's the only reason why I bought the set. I'm hoping someone will trade me something for the motel sign one. I don't care, at $2.88, it's a great deal. And, I have since come to the conclusion, that I collect salt shakers. I have quite the collection going - a pair of sheep, dog heads, pigs in tutus, and cows. My toilet adds so much to my kitchen ^-^

And, the real reason I went to Big Al's? Well, one is to buy a bit more yarn for a baby sweater I'm knitting. And, the other was to buy some stuff for my Secret Pal. To be honest, I bought her nothing. Lol. But, I bought her son a bunch of stuff. I plan on sending him a halloween Package.
